I'm Noah Ross. I'm a student studying electrical and computer engineering.

From the moment I assembled my first computer back in 6th grade, technology has been my passion. My interest in how and why computers work the way they do has led me to studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. Even if most of my projects are in the realm of software or microcontrollers, understanding how computers work from the transistors up to the operating system is really interesting and is surprisingly helpful.

I'm a big fan of Formula 1 and really enjoy the engineering that plays a massive role in the sport. As a member of the Lafayette Motorsports Club, I've gotten to work on building a Formula SAE electric race car. Focusing on the vehicle control systems it is a cool cross between my love for Formula 1 and my passion for engineering.

Exploring my interest in technology has led me to a variety of new experiences. Over the pandemic this led me to establish and grow Minecraft servers, transforming a pandemic hobby into a successful operation that attracted over 100,000 users before being sold. This endeavor taught me valuable skills in cybersecurity, infrastructure and a handful of other technologies.

Whether it's new drone hardware, exploring the flight control firmware necessary to fly it, or the latest in consumer electronics, there's always something exciting to explore.
